After breakfast you will check out of your lodge and head towards Samburu and be driven north past the equator to the northern frontier district with enroute lunch. Continue to the semi-arid Samburu National reserve and check in to your hotel with dinner. Samburu National Reserve is situated about 350 kms north of Nairobi in the semi-arid part of Kenya. Ewaso Nyiro River, the only water source in the dry season, bisects the reserve and apart from providing water to life, the river is home to some of the biggest Reptiles in the region and attracts a good number of birds. Early morning breakfast thereafter you will set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal which includes but not limited to an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog…whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always inspiringLunch in the camp/at the reserve. Then it’s time at leisure to relax by the riverside watching crocodile. Afternoon game drive starts at 4.00pm. Return to the campsite before dark. Dinner in the camp. After breakfast you leave for Lake Baringo with lunch en-route arriving with a serene boatride. Lake Baringo is famous of its great number of crocodiles and hippos along the lake. Since it is a fresh lake, the lesser flamingos are not present at the lake. Participate in fishing as it has 7 types of fish fishes. For fishing The Lake is well known for bird viewing as it hosts great number of bird species with great no of flamingos. On the safari encounter with zebras, grant giraffes and the kudu. The bushy environment the surrounding environment hosts the animals and is a great site for adventure. After your morning breakfast, check out of your lodge and continue with your safari to Kenya’s crown Jewell: The Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in you accommodation, check in and have lunch. Later on proceed for an afternoon game drive. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti Vast Plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest Migration and is home to big 5: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Other animals in the Park include Maasai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, Tophi, both Thompsons and Grant Gazelles. After the morning Breakfast, you will leave for a full day game drive for the two days with packed lunch. The search for the great wild animals continues. On the plains are large herds of Herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). After breakfast, check out of the lodge. You will have an optional visit to the Masai village or take a Nature walk with Masai warriors. Then drive to Lake Naivasha where you will be dropped off by the guide at the homestay that you have booked near the lake concluding the guided portion of the safari.Meals: Breakfast
